If you read through my posts on this blog you’ll notice that I obsess over my hair more than I do over anything else. If I dare to go outside without my makeup on, That is OK… As long as my hair is done.I’m not saying it has to be Hollywood Glam status but it needs to at least look smooth, clean and pretty.
When I first moved to New Jersey, I noticed my hair wasn’t the same. It wasn’t as shiny or bouncy as it used to be. And it kept getting “dirty” faster than it used to but then seemed a little on the dry side. I had all these hair issues popping up that I’ve never had! I’ve had the same exact hair routine for years and was always happy with my hair. But then I realized what had changed since my move and what was causing the problem.. The water.
Yeah, I know sounds crazy but it’s true. I’ve even spent the night in the city since my big move and threw myself into a shower excited to see if my hair would style the way it used to and sure enough, I had my old hair back.
Desperate to find a solution, ( without installing a $150 water softener ) I started to try shampoos that specifically promise extra vitamins and nourishing agents that weren’t going to cost me $20 a bottle. I finally found a shampoo and conditioner that gave me that “Ohhh, Ahh! ” Herbal Essences moment with no extra product, just the shampoo and conditioner.
Now I may be a little late on the game because I know this Thick & Full Biotin & Collagen shampoo / conditioner duo came out sometime in the beginning of the year but I’ve been eyeing it for a while. I’m a fan of the Organix line and have almost tried EVERY shampoo scent they’ve produced.
I’ve never blow dried my hair after a shower and had such a full and bouncy blowout as I did after washing & conditioning with Organix Thick & Full Biotin & Collagen shampoo & conditioner. I didn’t use ANY extra products and didn’t even need to style with hot tools because I was really that satisfied!
I’m three washes in and so far my hair has been shinier, softer, and a lot less dry.It may have taken me three months but I’m happy my search is over.. For now ;)
